The Melbourne Integrated System Themis

Themis support

A number of resources are available to help you use the system and include general information sheets, reference cards to help perform specific functions, training recommendations, and frequently asked questions. If the available resources do not answer your question you may wish to contact the Themis Service Desk for assistance/advice.

The foundation resources have been divided into two main user groups – staff and research students.

Staff

These resources are recommended for staff (academic and professional) new to the University and Themis.

Research students

These resources are recommended for new research active students who need to access Themis for ethics and publications.

In addition to the new staff or student information listed above, further resources are available according to user roles/activities.

Supervisors

These resources are recommended for supervisors, either new to the University or new to a supervisory role, who need to view and record information for staff reporting to them, as well as action requests submitted by their staff (e.g.: application for leave or training).

Research academics

These resources are recommended for staff members who need to record and manage their research details in Themis (such as recording their research profile, submitting a grant application, monitoring existing grants and contracts, applying for ethics (human or animal) clearance, recording publications, etc).
