Themis training
As Themis is a complex enterprise system, a range of training options are provided to meet the combined training needs of staff and students. While basic access is granted automatically when you activate your Themis account, training may be required before access is granted to many transactional and specialist Themis responsibilities (e.g.: financial, timekeeper, reporting, etc).
Training may be undertaken in a variety of delivery methods, such as: hands-on lab-based classes; information briefings; one-on-one training; and customised training as negotiated with training providers. In addition, on-line self-paced learning units are currently being developed.
Training courses are conducted by experts from a number of different training providers/units (including business areas such as Financial Operations and Melbourne Research Office, the Enterprise Application Service Desk, and Documentation and Training Services).
The Application Services, Documentation and Training Services team aims to ensure that Themis training is delivered consistently and effectively throughout the University. In order to best meet your training needs, we encourage you to provide feedback on your Themis training experiences as well as any recommendations and/or suggestions for future training opportunities. Please send your feedback to ea-training-doco@unimelb.edu.au.
